Medical Waste Treatment

Beyond sharps — we handle all regulated medical waste streams. Pathological waste, cultures and stocks, human blood and blood products, and other potentially infectious materials (OPIM).

All waste is transported under DOT compliance and processed at a licensed NC DENR-permitted treatment facility. You receive a Certificate of Treatment for every pickup, creating an unbroken chain of custody.

Most businesses are set up and receiving service within 2–5 business days of signing up. We'll deliver your initial containers and schedule your first pickup during the same visit in most cases.
We provide 1-quart, 1-gallon, 2-gallon, 5-gallon, and 8-gallon FDA-cleared sharps containers. All containers are puncture-resistant, leak-proof, and labeled in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030. We'll recommend the right size for your volume during your free assessment.
No. Our technician handles the entire exchange — sealing, labeling, and removal of the full container. Your staff simply fills the container during normal operations and leaves the rest to us. We will provide staff with basic handling guidelines at setup.
You'll receive a waste manifest (chain-of-custody document) and a Certificate of Treatment same-day via email. These are archived in our system and available for OSHA audit requests for a minimum of 3 years, meeting or exceeding all federal and NC record-keeping requirements.
Absolutely. Call us and we'll dispatch an emergency pickup typically within 24–48 hours for existing customers. We also offer on-call service for businesses with unpredictable volumes. We'll never leave you with an overflowing container.
